The Strength of the House books one and two covering the 1854-1879 period of the Meiji Restoration are completed and ready for reading and book three is work in progress. The draft is available to registered users on the Reading page.
A small number of readers are being invited to review the manuscripts before publication. This is not a request for editorial correction or technical review, but an opportunity to experience the story as a reader and provide honest impressions of its characters, pacing, themes and overall impact. If you enjoy historical fiction, Japanese history, family sagas or stories of enterprise and transformation, your perspective would be greatly valued.
